Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Toronto Trading Academy. By creating an account or unlocking the library, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

Toronto Trading Academy is a Canadian education company based in Toronto. We are not registered with the Ontario Securities Commission, CIRO, or any other Canadian or foreign regulator as a dealer, adviser or portfolio manager. We do not provide investment advice, recommendations, signals, copy-trading or managed accounts.

2. Education only — no advice

Every course, video, article, template and message published by us is for general educational purposes only. Nothing on the platform is:

• investment, financial, tax or legal advice;
• a recommendation to buy or sell any security, currency, derivative or instrument;
• a promise of any specific investment outcome.

You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. Before trading, you should consult a registered Canadian financial advisor and ensure you can afford any losses you may incur.

3. Risk disclosure

Trading carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You may lose some or all of the money you put at risk.

4. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@torontotradingacademy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Paid tiers and refunds

We offer three paid tiers, each a one-time purchase that grants lifetime access to its included courses:

• Foundation Plan — $250 CAD. Self-paced. Unlocks all Foundation-level courses.
• Intermediate Plan — $500 CAD. Self-paced. Includes everything in Foundation plus all Intermediate-level courses.
• Advanced Program — $1,500 CAD. A four-week live cohort program (limited to 24 seats per cohort) that includes every course in the library, live small-group sessions, and a one-on-one trading-plan review. Sold by application; payment is taken only after acceptance.

Self-paced tiers (Foundation and Intermediate) carry a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund from the date of purchase. The Advanced Program carries a 7-day cooling-off period from the first live session; after that point, all sales are final except where Canadian consumer protection law requires otherwise.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share your account with anyone else;
• download, copy, redistribute or resell our course materials;
• scrape, frame or mirror the platform without written consent;
• use the platform to harass other members or our staff.

7. Intellectual property

All course videos, written content, templates, charts and platform software are the property of Toronto Trading Academy or its licensors, protected by Canadian and international copyright law. Your unlock grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to view and learn from them — not to reproduce them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
